  • Super relaxed, reliable and simple breakfast. Very good spot if there are picky eaters in the group as most of the dishes are pretty customisable. Enjoyed it.

Iced coffees where perfect and the mocha was delicious! The juice shot also was great and full of flavour and tasted nice and fresh! The venue is gorgeous and provides a beautiful spot for lunch and coffee! Overall I can’t really complain about anything other than the staff where friendly but where a little bit odd but they still where nice! Overall I have to give Berta a solid 5/5 stars and i will be returning here again soon!

  • This place is an absolute gem. Super cute little Cafe with a beautiful setting, very welcoming and cosy. Our waitress was a bit under the pump but she handle herself well and we understood the rush of getting in our order before menu change. So many incredible options, it was hard for us to decide. We were hungry too so naturally we over ordered. We ordered the Kimchi friend rice to share. This was hands down one of the best fried rices ever. we also order 2 brekky mains as well, which was definitely too much but so worth it. We had the Mediterranean and the Turkish breakfast. Very very generous portions but the flavours were spot on. I'm not a huge fan of falafel but I was even impressed by those. The beautiful rich sauces and the accompaniments with each dish was incredible. Will definitely be back and highly recommend! 5

  • I happened to swing into this place on a whim. Firstly, this has to be the best coffee in Hobart. They somehow aerated it and did some sort of special magic to make my long black taste like a Thursday lunchtime cocktail. So much so that my partner and I had to pause and cheers. I was more annoyed that it was my last coffee of the day—otherwise, I would have had two. I had the tuna salad, and to say that it matched the weather would be an understatement—it was a taste of summer. The tuna was seared perfectly, and the dressing was light without being too oily. The arrangement of the potatoes, radish, and semi-sun-dried tomatoes was just divine. I'd love to give a review on the pasta, but my partner inhaled it. Between mouthfuls, mumbling delicious. The wait staff were friendly and informed me that the menu changes with the seasons. I think this is rare in restaurants, and I’m already looking forward to winter. Another added benefit is that the meals are priced within the same range, making decisions either easier or more challenging—I haven't decided yet Highly recommend!

  • This is my new favourite spot for breakfast and lunch when visiting Hobart! Staff members are friendly and accommodating at all times. Food is amazing, we came during the weekend and had two of the specials: steak and waffles and also tried the fish toast. Everything was well-served, cooked and seasoned to perfection and absolutely delicious! We came again during the week to enjoy some of the lunch options as well: chicken burger, fries, salad sandwich and gnocchi and they didn’t disappoint! Coffee was great too, specially the salted caramel honeycomb latte. 10/10, will be definitely coming back!
